My wifi has been getting flakey lately, gradually getting worse. It would randomly connect and disconnect. When it was working it worked great but it wouldn't stay connected for more then about 10 minutes at a time. Last night I cleared all of the caches to no effect so I followed that up with a data wipe. Now the wifi won't connect at all.

I know I have the correct settings because I am able to connect with other devices so I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Maybe a radio fix that I haven't been able to find in my searches?

Is there any way to remove the labels from the app icons? I'm sure there's a setting somewhere but my searches have all been in vain.

I've installed the Decks rom, setup DTa2sd and the Car-o-Dope tweaks, following all of the instructions that I've been able to glean from the various threads. For the most part I'm quite pleased with the results, but...

I have a couple of problems that I have not been able to resolve.

1) The lock screen is quite random. It usually only activates reliably for the first couple of times I turn on the phone after rebooting, after that it only comes on randomly and very infrequently. I was having this same issue when I was previously using VPGB.

2) Almost every time I reboot I am forced to sign in to my Google account and re-sync everything.

3) Stability. Several times a day everything seizes up for several seconds then, when it releases, I get the 'force close' popup. If I hit the 'wait' button it starts working again immediately.


I am not under-volting or under-clocking right now.

Any insight on these problems would be appreciated.
