I would love to have that too. One thing I've been trying to do already is have an option to return the current ROM and kernel version like you can already obtain the current battery level. It's pretty hard to figure out because it's all written in C and I'm no expert on C. Battery level was pretty easy because the file recovery is getting the value from is only one line that only contains the battery level. The ROM is way down at the bottom of the build.prop and I'm having trouble figuring out how to get that info without iterating through every line. Kernel version is really easy when you're in the phone. About Phone or uname -r in TE. Getting that to work from recovery using C is tougher.

People asked drellisdee about this too and he said, "Nandroid is a script and rest of recovery is C and I can't easily pass variables back and forth easily." That is indeed true. I'll keep working at it though.

Cool. I didn't thing it would be an easy task, but if you figure it out, I'm going to have to buy you a case of beer.... But only if you get it done for my EVO before Sept when I upgrade to the SGSIII... LOL

I've been liking ICS, but I just may have to downgrade to upgrade.I'm in for a go with it. Looking forward to seeing what all the hype is about. "Release the Kraken".

Smelkus,
I have a project for you to look into since you are modding Amon Ra. I don't know if it is even possible and think that if it was, it would have been in the original build. But, I have faith that if it can be done, you would be one to ask. So here goes.

You know when you create a back up, you then have to reboot and go into root Explorer (or some other explorer app) and name it so that you know what it is? Well, how about an option to name the backup as you are creating it? Since we can know use the touch buttons to scroll, maybe the screen can also be used with a keyboard. I see it as a good idea, but again, don't even know if it is possible since it is not running through an app like CWM does. What do you think?

Keep your wipe routine the way you have it and add a multi wipe option for those who are paranoid and want it. Just integrate vr superwipe which is really just calkulin's clear temp and format allx3 in one. ropodope Change, nothin' stays the same. Unchained, and ya hit the ground runnin'.
