3D home screen?

I guess I don't understand what's supposed to happen when I check the box in the display settings for the 3D home screen. It says it changes the perspective when the phone is tilted, but I don't notice any change?

EVO 3D S-OFF using HTC Unlocker

Hey guys, anyone take all the updates on their 3D and use the HTC Unlocker? My phone is being horrible to me right now and I'm on VP3D so I know it's not the ROM as Jim and I have spoken about my issues. Just curious about taking all the updates to make my phone 100% current then using the unlocker from HTC then slapping VP3D back on her.
