Would it be possible to do a "from scratch" or "fresh start" option? ie, all partitions except SD card. Then one for flashing a new ROM that wipes everything but the card and ext partitions? Also, what would be extremely useful would be triple wiping by default. I've done it since day one and whether it helps or not, I think alot of us still do it, I know I do...

I haven't certified it as a Kang, but have been talking with Dev/Null who informed that Agraben looked at it and saw it was his. For those who don't know who Evil Dev/Null is, Google him. His team is arguably three best around. He got S-Off on the XFE in a couple hours, them had to deal with bullshit kangusations because some moron wanted credit, although the method were quite different, and I'm not sure how you can Kang general grep or bash scripts. Maybe Jim could shed some light on the subject, but Zach knows more about this than anyone

Not putting Team Evil down, just there is nothing over there to achieve S-OFF on the 3D posted unless I'm missing it, and I've been checking regularly.

Also, S-OFF is a flag, you get it, it's set. You can revert to completely stock if you want and maintain S-OFF. There's nothing that happens later. You got it, you're good. You can do a byte by byte comparison of the entire phone to stock and it's 4 bytes difference.

Not a hater, donated to EDN, there's just nothing there.

Also, for completeness sake, it's a 1.4 revert

You have to register to see the device forums, but the member who wrote the revert is on a different plane than most developers and from what I've been told, has shown what they're capable of by remote bricking an evo shift "just for fun".
