Getting more familiar with Odin. I used Odin to root my GS2 and i use Odin to do fresh flash of my phone to start over with a stock rooted rom. Was wondering if anyone has used Odin to flash their kernel and what differences have you experianced. Better performance or nothing at all. There is a difference i think when using Odin rather than CWM but im not 100% sure. Carhauler has found a nugget too but i won't steal his thunder :)
[Current Devices] Samsung Epic 4G Touch
[ROM] Calkulin 3.0
[Kernel] Gunslinger 1.4.1
[Retired Devices] Hero CDMA, Evo 3D, Evo 4G, NS4G, (RESERVED)

AND SAMSUNG TAKES IT FOR THE WIN!!...........sorry HTC.......

I need to do some more testing with this "nugget" before I start recommending it to anyone else, I've only used it once last night just to see if it worked. It did work, but I need to put it through it's paces before I trust it fully & deem it worthy of carhauler's seal of approval. ;)

The SGS II Epic 4G Touch is on TeamNocturnal Blend ICS "The Goodness" v7.1 FD02 Rogue Repack Kernel FD26 Modem
and
NO Tweaks not already included in the ROM Yes it's that good.
It is underclocked via Calkulin's Battery Saver Script based on screen state & battery percentage max clock speed is 1.2GHz @ 100-85% and scales down to 800MHz @ 35% & below, & Undervolted by -75mV via Calkulin's scripts

The O.G. is currently on Dark Light v3.5 w/ Mason v.14-ics-hwa-sbc-fso+
@ 128/1152MHz on Intellidemand & the SIO scheduler & 4096kb SD cache
Under volted -75mV total w/ SystemTuner Pro

"Rosie" is an evil b*tch that bogs down my EVO If it ain't AOSP, it ain't for me...

Tweaks: C-o-D Tweaks NO MORE SCRIPTS!!!
