What launcher are you using? Go launcher ex has go SMS pro that has an emoji plugin that's pretty sweet

I'm using the standard one... don't know the name lol. Not go launcher though

I don't think you actually need go launcher, just go SMS for your text app. Then add in the emoji addon and you're set.
