How do I recover about a 25% of my contacts lost as I flashed the Rom, I should have them backed up but not sure how to snatch them . Thx all

Did you nand the last room you were on? If so nand your current set up, restore the old nand, save them then come back to you're current set up and restore them.

If your using the gmail contacts if you log in from a PC you can restore them from there
To borrow a phrase ask me how I know, I deleted my contacts a few times, don't drink and change things on your phones

When you save your contacts, you should always save them to your Google account. After you restore your older nandroid, you can manually enter them if you log into your Gmail account and edit the contacts.

Hows this for funky....
I have no contacts on my sim or my phone, everything is on google.
But when I use an AOSP rom i lose about 25% of them, on MIUI or Sense they are all there. When I put gocontacts on decks rom or VP they are there....
Any suggestions?
